What a cutie! I love how you can see every crisp detail of his front leg, from the nails to the footpad. And even his face and body which are out of focus stay in sharp. He reminds me of a tortiseshell cat, Fontina, I had a few years back, she was always getting into trouble. She figured out how to turn on the stove in the kitchen from walking on the buttons so many times. That was her absolute favorite thing to do.
Thank you - it was originally a shot that didn't quite work, in that he jumped partly out of frame and the focus was only on his paw which wasn't quite what I was intending (but you can't control a cat!). However a bit cropping so the paw became the centre of the shot and I got this out of it .
My Bengal has turned on the stove a couple of times. He has a strong rabbit-kick reflex, so he was probably lounging on the flat ceramic stove top and rabbit-kicked the knobs. The first time I just thought maybe I'd not turned one off properly, but the second time it happened I guessed it was him. I now switch it off at the wall when not in use!
