Theo is recovering from his cone ordeal and the light plus his pose in this shot has hidden the shaven patch on his belly and his right front leg (he had a hernia repair op last week). He's a 7 month old Abyssinian kitten - his colour is "chocolate".

You'll notice he has dark patches in the lower portion of his iris near his pupil - in directional light, and depending on the angle of the light and of the viewer, parts of his iris look darker (and the dark patch will appear to move around if the viewer or the light moves).

You may use this as stock/reference but please give credit if you do.

The sunlight doesn't stay on the hall floor for much of the day (nor for much of the year due to it getting higher in the sky) but I have got some lovely shots over the years when it does :)
