Never leave anything interesting hanging out of your pocket with a bengal kitten around.
This looks staged, but it isn't. While doing some kitten action photography against a black fabric backdrop one of the kittens had jumped at it and pulled it down slightly so I went to adjust it. Earlier I'd been using a toy mouse on some string to tease them with and had put it in my back pocket out of the way, but it appears that while I managed to stuff the tail into my pocket I completely failed with the mouse itself.
So Loki spotted it, went for it, and fortunately I still had the camera remote in my hand. Although he's a 16 week old kitten he was already around the 3kg mark and his claws are sharp! Ouch.
Great shot with a great story. I've had a kitten (half norwegian forest cat) climbing up my leg in a simillar fashion even trough it played with its sister/brother. I can't remember wich one did what, maybe both of them. Those spots are lovely. Are bengals often that focused on things?
This is an amazing shot! You can see how much weight Loki is putting on his back leg, digging those nails into your jeans. You're lucky you were wearing jeans this day, and not tracksuit pants, or anything with thinner material. Or shorts! You're also lucky you had the remote in your hand!
Thankfully it's only Loki who does it - I'm trying to educate him it's bad by making loud noises and gently tapping him on the nose when he does it. I'm not going to be amused if he tries it in the summer when I'm wearing shorts!
Yeah, I have all sorts of stuff getting attacked by them around the house . He's eyed up the cord pull for the bathroom light a couple of times but thankfully not attempted that one yet (it's a bit high).

Love your photos like always. ^ ^ (Bad English.. :S)
