Poor Misty's not so well right now - kidney failure . She had a stay at the vet for a few days on IV to stabilise her and came back home a few days ago, so I'm seeing how it goes.
Anyway this is an older photo from happier times a couple of years ago where she's soaking up some summer evening sunshine.
What an absolutely ADORABLE shot! Poor Misty, I really hope she pulls through <3 You have a wonderful talent, please keep up the great work! P.S. Would love to draw this, if you allow me to. All credit will be given/posted.
Thank you for the kind words. Sadly she was put to sleep the day after I posted that . She was back to drinking too much water, wasn't eating enough (she'd lost more weight over just a few days) and wasn't her usual self so it seemed the kindest course of action rather than have her suffer.
Thankfully I have the kittens around to distract me, although it's not the same without Misty to keep them in line!
I'm happy for any of my photos to be used as reference and would love to see the results if you draw it.
I am sorry about Misty. Is she very old? I have lost at least 3 cats in the last year and it breaks my heart each time I lose one. I am now down to Sniper who stays in all the time. and Tigger and Sugar who come and go.
Thanks... She's 13, so getting into old age. I lost my other cat of a similar age back in August last year to illness (suspected lymphoma) and based on Misty's blood tests and how she's been since her stay at the vet's I think her renal failure is fairly advanced so she probably only has months . After Simba passed in August I got a couple of kittens and their energy and purrs help at least. Sorry to hear about your 3 kitties

low, and don't block out her sun.
