I've been trying to get a shot of both kittens together to use on a christmas card to send to friends. I succeeded in the end (and I'll share that photo here eventually) but I also got a few other nice shots - this is one of them.
They are a handful - intelligent, inquisitive, strong, athletic, vocal and active (and I think tend to stay active)... Although Loki does actually nap all through the night at least (phew)! My Christmas tree has been toppled about 6-7 times so far, but having seen photos from other Bengal owners of scattered remains of their Christmas trees I think I got off lightly . It is worth it - he's got real character already even at a young age and is great fun! I also have an Abyssinian kitten who is great too
This is a beautiful photograph of Loki! The shots of your boys with the fairylights have to be my favourites; something so simple, looks so beautiful! I can imagine they would have been little nightmares to get to sit still and not play with the lights... especially if they were the blinking fairylights!
They're fond of chewing things, so they had a good old gnaw on the fairy lights! At least with modern LED ones they're robust, plastic and I don't need to worry about them electrocuting themselves if they get too enthusiastic with the chewing! And it was a nightmare to get them to sit still
I think I went through about two pairs of earbuds for my iPod while my Ragdoll was a kitten. He loved to chew on the cord when I was using them, or when they were sitting on the desk. Definitely a good thing that your LED lights can withstand the assault of cat teeth! Very few cords can survive such an ordeal
