Cats I think were put on this earth to test our endurance Theo looks like he is so full of personality.....you can see it in his eyes. Thank you so much for sharing this with me. It's so nice to know about one of my favorite subjects Hope your breakables are well hidden
Theo is a real character - very Abyssinian . He's quite fond of following me from in front - if I move to a different room he'll sprint past to get there first (invariably with me colliding with him half the time - how I've managed not to trip over him yet I don't know)! He's not so bad about getting into things though. My Bengal, Loki, is the one that likes to get into things... and push things off shelves. My mantelpiece has very few ornaments now, and those that are there are non-breakable and also stuck down with blu-tak. Loki still likes to walk across the mantelpiece and 'test' them.
Thank you so very much Matt He looks like quite the character and must be into everything! I looked for a scene that matched his coloring, and this background was perfect. Not too shabby for my first attempt at pet pieces

Ah- I once had a cat, but it was a Domesticated Shorthair. You know what's another beautiful breed? Havana Brown. I saw the Abyssinian and Havana Brown on Cats 101 one day, and loved them the second I saw them. Theo is rather cute. This is a great shot, and I love how playful he looks. My criteria for cats that I love is basically: It must be cute as a kitten, and beautiful/amazing as an adult.
I fell in love with the breed when I first met a couple of abyssinians at the house of a friend of a friend - I vowed when I finally lived somewhere I could get a cat that I'd have one . Theo is my second aby and he's proving to be just as adorable as my first!
A Somali? They look cool too . My 12 year old female cat is grumpy about the kittens - they still keep trying to make friends with her, but she growls at them. I think it's the feline equivalent of "GET ORRF MY LAWN!" . Misty doesn't like people either though (she likes me, but hides from almost everyone else). I'm not entirely sure about Misty's make-up, but I was told she's half british shorthair and half somali. She has a british shorthair build and fur length, but has an agouti coat and tabby markings on her face.
Sorry to hear about your cat... I lost a 13 year old Aby to illness in August - until he became ill he was playful and youthful and I think he would have been into old age! I'm hoping little Theo will be the same - I think the breed tends to be .
