They're beautiful birds. They've been reintroduced into a number of areas of the UK in the 1990s and 2000s and seem to be thriving. There's 3-4 which range over the village I live in and it's lovely to see them gliding as they look for food. There's some fast wide main highways not too far from here that also seem to have quite a population of them - maybe the corridor of land and the roads themselves are ideal as food sources!
